The custom tailoring service allows a man to create a garment made exclusively for him. Zegna tailor Marco Gentile explains the process of personalization:
Marco says: «Every element of the individual style of a man can be emphasized and expressed in the garments of individual tailoring. I must make sure that each element starting with the design of the holes for buttons to the type of collar, is exclusively designed for him and is an impeccable match to his unique style.»

Suit sewing begins with the shoulders, the suit sits well only if it is properly sewn in the shoulders. The rest is already easier. Therefore, in the beginning the measurements are taken from the upper part of the body: first the neck, then the shoulders, chest, arms, back and waist.
The key of a good fit of a jacket is how well the shoulders and sleeves are sewn. For most jackets on the market, the seam between the sleeve and the body is performed on a typewriter. For our custom tailoring suits, it is done by hand.
