In 1966 Umberto Vallati, a skilled craftsman from a small village in the Marche region, decided to acquire a historic knitwear company founded in 1932.
Driven by a passion for “well done” and his overwhelming charisma, he began to invest in the best production technologies with a single purpose: to design, produce and distribute high quality knitwear throughout the world.
In 1970 the “UMBERTO VALLATI” brand was born, which was soon distributed in the best boutiques in the world.
Conquering new world markets
“Over the years we have managed to both increase the consensus of the market and maintain our qualities as good craftsmen” (Umberto Vallati).
In the 90s Umberto Vallati expanded into new emerging markets: Russia, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Korea and China.
These years also saw the precious collaboration with brands such as Versace, Francesco Smalto, Verri, which gave a strong imprimatur to the style and particular attention to quality of the company.
